Frederic Joulin, Chef/owner of Semilla is no stranger to the restaurant industry. After launching his own restaurant "Le Clos Saint-Honoré" in Paris when he was only 25 years old, Chef Joulin decided to bring his talents overseas.
He started out with "Cafe des Arts", a bistro in Miami Beach then opened a fine dining restaurant as an Executive Chef in Coconut Grove.
Semilla was created in late 2013, and brought back Chef Joulin to the roots. The natural one with a cuisine elaborated with high-quality foods, and his own roots, French cuisine fused with local food.
